Brazil has a big advantage: Royal Air Maroc flies São Paulo to Casablanca nonstop in about 9 hours, with a small 3–4 hour time difference. Allow 10–14 days. Brazilian passport holders enjoy 90-day visa-free entry, but verify before booking. Connect domestically from Rio or Brasília to São Paulo.
Brazilian travellers are quietly spoiled when it comes to reaching Morocco, and most don't know it until I tell them. Royal Air Maroc operates a nonstop service between São Paulo (Guarulhos) and Casablanca — somewhere around nine hours in the air — which is shorter than many Europeans' multi-leg journeys feel. On top of that, the time difference is only about three to four hours, so jet lag is genuinely minor. That combination means a Brazilian guest can land fresh and start enjoying Morocco almost immediately, which shapes how I plan the whole trip.
If you're not in São Paulo, the play is simple: take a domestic flight from Rio, Brasília, Belo Horizonte or wherever you are into Guarulhos, then connect to the Casablanca nonstop. Alternatively, European routings via Lisbon (TAP) or Madrid (Iberia) open up a stopover if you fancy a couple of nights in Portugal or Spain on the way — that's a popular twist for honeymooners. But for pure efficiency, the direct Royal Air Maroc flight into Casablanca is hard to beat, and CMN is the ideal gateway for a loop through Marrakech, the Sahara, the Atlas and Fes.
On the visa front, Brazilian passport holders have enjoyed visa-free entry to Morocco for tourist stays of up to 90 days, which keeps planning blissfully simple — passport valid six months, an onward ticket, a first-night booking, and you're set. As always, I ask guests to confirm the current rule with the Moroccan consulate in Brazil before booking, since entry policies can change. With the easy flight and easy entry, my advice is to spend your saved energy on a richer itinerary — ten to fourteen days that include a luxury desert night, which for many Brazilian guests is the headline memory of the trip.
One cultural note Brazilian guests love: the warmth translates. Moroccan hospitality — the endless mint tea, the invitations, the unhurried meals — chimes beautifully with Brazilian sociability, and I lean into that when designing trips, building in family-run riads, shared dinners and artisan visits rather than a procession of monuments. And because the seasons are flipped from Europe's mindset, I'll always match your travel dates to Morocco's gentler spring and autumn windows where I can, so you're not facing the deep Sahara heat of high summer.
