Experience the ancient Moroccan bathing ritual of the hammam, a centuries-old tradition of cleansing, relaxation, and social bonding. A traditional hammam involves multiple stages of warming, washing, exfoliating, and relaxing in marble-lined steam rooms. After warming your body, your attendant performs the gommage – a vigorous full-body scrub using a rough kessa glove that removes dead skin. This is followed by traditional black soap, rhassoul clay, and a thorough rinse. The entire ritual leaves you feeling incredibly clean and rejuvenated.
