Coastal Areas (Casablanca, Essaouira, Tangier):

• Mediterranean climate
1. Mild winters: 55-65°F (13-18°C)
2. Warm summers: 70-80°F (21-27°C)
3. Higher humidity
4. Ocean breezes keep it comfortable
5. Rain possible October-April

• Continental climate with hot summers
1. Winter: 50-65°F (10-18°C), can drop to 40°F (4°C) at night
2. Spring/Fall: 65-80°F (18-27°C)
3. Summer: 90-104°F (32-40°C), very hot and dry
4. Very low humidity
5. Minimal rainfall

• Alpine climate
1. Winter: Snow common, can be below freezing
2. Summer: Mild 65-75°F (18-24°C), perfect for trekking
3. Temperature drops significantly at elevation
4. Can be 20°F (11°C) cooler than nearby cities

• Extreme temperature variations
