No. Canadian citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days. You receive an entry stamp on arrival — no application or fee. Your passport must be valid for the length of your stay, and you should have proof of onward travel and accommodation.

No visa required — Canadian passport holders visit Morocco visa-free for tourism, with up to 90 days granted on arrival. There's no e-visa, no online form and no fee; an immigration officer stamps your passport at the airport when you land. It's one of the genuinely simple parts of organising a Morocco trip from Canada.

The passport details are what to watch. Your Canadian passport should be valid for the duration of your stay, and I always recommend keeping a healthy buffer of validity beyond your return date, since airlines occasionally enforce a six-month rule regardless of Morocco's own requirement. Keep a blank page free for the entry stamp. You should also be prepared to show a return or onward ticket and your accommodation details — rarely requested in practice, but having your return flight and first hotel booking ready on your phone settles it instantly.

On arrival you'll fill in a short entry card with your details and where you're staying before reaching passport control. Hold on to the stamp and any stub you're given, because it can be requested when you depart. The 90-day allowance is the tourism maximum; extending beyond it means a local application that's genuinely cumbersome, so for any normal vacation it simply isn't relevant.

My usual advice to Canadian travellers is to check the Government of Canada travel advice page for Morocco shortly before departure, as entry rules anywhere can be updated. But as things stand, it couldn't be more straightforward: arrive with a valid passport and a return ticket, get your stamp, and you're free to enjoy Morocco for up to three months — no visa paperwork at all.
