From Amman (AMM), I route you to Casablanca via a Gulf hub (Doha/Dubai/Abu Dhabi), a European hub, or Royal Jordanian/Royal Air Maroc connections, reaching Morocco in roughly 7–11 hours total. Land in Casablanca, transfer to Marrakech, run a 7–10 day loop. Jordanian passport holders should verify visa rules officially.
Amman travellers are pleasantly surprised that Morocco is closer in spirit than they expect, even if there is no everyday non-stop. My usual routing is a single clean connection — through a Gulf hub like Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi, or via a European gateway, often pairing Royal Jordanian with Royal Air Maroc into Casablanca. Door to riad typically runs seven to eleven hours including the layover, so I treat the connection as a chance to break the journey rather than a hardship, and I build the day around landing fresh in Casablanca.
I land Amman clients in Casablanca and move them on to Marrakech by the quick onward flight or the comfortable train, then build the loop outward. Seven days covers the Red City souks and gardens, the Tizi n'Tichka into the High Atlas, a Sahara night at Erg Chebbi, and the scenic road back. Ten days adds Fes and Chefchaouen. Jordanians often arrive with a sharp eye for hospitality and craft — and Morocco rewards that — so I lean into artisan workshops, the carpet and brass souks, and unhurried mint-tea time rather than a rushed circuit.
On entry rules I always tell Jordanian travellers to confirm the current position officially, as requirements for Arab passport holders vary and change; check the latest with official Moroccan government channels well before you book. Even where entry is straightforward, I like to confirm in writing so there are no surprises at the airport. The moment your dates are set I fold a comfortable buffer into the plan so any paperwork is handled calmly, never at the last minute.
What moves my Amman travellers most is the deep cultural familiarity layered over genuine difference — the call to prayer, the souks, the rhythms of an Arab city all feel like home, and yet the Amazigh culture, the Atlas and the Sahara are entirely their own world. A couple from Amman told me they expected Marrakech to feel like a version of somewhere they knew, and instead the desert night undid them completely with its silence. So I place the Sahara mid-trip as the emotional heart, with the medinas and a hammam afternoon to balance it. Send me your dates and group size and I will build the cleanest Gulf-or-European routing — and please reconfirm both flights and entry rules before booking.
