How do I plan a Morocco trip from Baku, Azerbaijan?

Baku sits at the eastern edge of the cities I plan from, so the connection is everything. Turkish via Istanbul is my usual first choice for Azerbaijani travellers because it links onward to Casablanca on one protected ticket, but the Gulf hubs — Doha on Qatar, Dubai on Emirates — are genuinely competitive from Baku and sometimes win on timing. I price the Istanbul and Gulf routings side by side before committing anyone.

Because the trip from Baku is long in both directions, I am firm with Azerbaijani guests about giving it room — nine to twelve days, not a snatched week. When you have spent the better part of a day flying each way, a longer stay is the difference between a real journey and an exhausting blur. Two things I will not check for you, because they must be current: confirm your chosen hub-to-Casablanca timings right before booking — the Istanbul and Gulf schedules both shuffle by season and a great connection can quietly vanish — and verify your visa or entry requirements directly.
