From Gdansk (GDN) there is no direct, so I connect you via Warsaw or a European hub (Frankfurt, Paris) to Marrakech or Casablanca (~6–8h total). Land in Marrakech, run a 7–10 day loop, then fly home from Marrakech or Fes. Verify schedules.
Travellers from Gdansk on the Baltic coast are a fair way north, so Morocco means one clean connection. From Gdansk-Lech Wałęsa I route most people through Warsaw on LOT, or through a western hub such as Frankfurt or Paris, onto Royal Air Maroc or a European carrier into Marrakech or Casablanca. Door to riad usually runs six to eight hours including the layover — a single travel day that takes you from the cool Baltic to the warm Red City in one go.
I land most Gdansk clients in Marrakech and build a loop. Seven days covers the souks and gardens, the Tizi n'Tichka crossing into the High Atlas, a night beneath the dunes, and the scenic return; ten days lets me add Fes and Chefchaouen. Polish travellers from the historic, hard-won streets of Gdansk tend to engage deeply with Morocco's living history, so I give the medinas of Fes and Marrakech real time, with a local guide for the first morning in each so the labyrinth opens up rather than overwhelms.
The contrast that lands hardest for people from the grey, amber-and-brick Baltic is the warmth and the desert light. A couple from Gdansk told me the moment Morocco truly arrived for them was the camel walk into Erg Chebbi at golden hour, the heat still in the sand and the stars coming out over total silence — about as far from a Baltic winter as a person can travel. So I now place the Sahara night roughly midway through the trip, as the emotional centrepiece, with slow mornings and a hammam to balance the driving.
For the return I keep both exits open. If your loop ends in the north, flying home out of Fes (connecting via Casablanca, Warsaw, Frankfurt or Paris) saves the long backtrack to Marrakech. I hold both options until we finalise, and I always remind Gdansk travellers to confirm the live timetable before booking, because the Polish connections and seasonal frequencies shift. Tell me your dates and how many nights you have, and I will build the cleanest possible routing.
