November in Marrakech is mild and pleasant, with daytime highs of 22–24°C and cooler evenings dropping to around 11–13°C. The peak crowds thin and prices begin to ease through the month. Sunshine remains reliable with a slightly higher chance of rain. A comfortable, good-value time to visit.
November is a gentle, underrated month in Marrakech and one I happily steer value-conscious guests toward. The fierce heat is long gone and the daytime temperatures settle into a comfortable 22 to 24°C — warm in the sun, ideal for walking the medina and exploring the gardens without breaking a sweat. The light takes on that lovely low autumn quality, and the city feels calm and unhurried after the October peak. For sightseeing weather without the summer intensity, November is excellent.
The evenings, though, signal the turn toward winter. Once the sun sets, temperatures fall to around 11 to 13°C, cooler than the warm autumn days suggest, so a jacket or light coat for the evening goes back on the packing list. It is not cold in the January sense — rooftop dining is still pleasant with a layer — but the contrast between warm afternoons and cool nights becomes marked, and a riad with some heating is worth having for late in the month.
November is where the peak season unwinds. Early in the month still carries some of October's busy energy and pricing, but as the weeks pass the crowds thin noticeably and riad rates ease back toward the gentler winter levels. The back half of November can be a real sweet spot — still-pleasant weather, but with better availability and value than the autumn peak. Rain becomes a little more likely than in the bone-dry months, so a packable waterproof earns its place, though most days remain sunny.
For day trips and the desert, November still works nicely in its first half. The Atlas foothills are pleasant, and a Sahara extension remains viable — warm clear days, though the desert nights are cooling fast toward winter cold, so pack proper layers for a dune camp. Within the city, this is a lovely month for a slower, more contemplative visit: comfortable days, atmospheric evenings, fewer crowds and friendlier prices. November quietly offers a lot of what makes Marrakech special, without the spring-and-autumn premium.
