Las Vegas (LAS) has no nonstop to Morocco. From the West, you connect via a European hub — London, Frankfurt, Paris or Madrid — sometimes with a US-side connection first. Expect roughly 17–21 hours total door-to-door with one or two stops.

Vegas is a well-connected airport, but not to Morocco directly, so from LAS I build a route through Europe. The strongest options are London with British Airways or Virgin Atlantic, Frankfurt with Condor or Lufthansa, and Paris or Madrid via a partner connection — each just a short hop from Casablanca or Marrakech. Some itineraries add a US-side connection through an East Coast hub; I keep the transatlantic leg to one flight wherever possible. Total travel time is around 17–21 hours. As always, verify current schedules, because Vegas's international mix changes with the seasons.

I love the contrast of moving someone from the neon of the Strip to the candlelit hush of a desert camp. My Las Vegas clients are often after exactly that — a place where the spectacle is natural rather than manufactured: the dunes of Erg Chebbi glowing at sunset, the chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa square at night, a riad courtyard so quiet you can hear the fountain. I tell them to give the first evening to arrival and a rooftop dinner, then let Morocco's slower, sensory drama take over.

For the itinerary, a week anchored in Marrakech is my standard first trip: the city, a day over the Atlas Mountains, and an overnight in a Sahara camp near Merzouga where the desert puts on a far better show than any production. With ten days I'll add Fes and the blue town of Chefchaouen for a fuller arc. Since plenty of Vegas travellers come as couples or celebrating something, I'll happily lean the trip luxe — a standout riad, a private camp, a sunrise camel ride — and tune the pace to match.

Practically: Las Vegas is on Pacific Time, so Morocco is eight to nine hours ahead, which is a real adjustment — I always build in an easy arrival day. US passport holders get 90 days visa-free, ATMs on arrival give the best dirham rate, and spring and autumn are the most comfortable seasons for both cities and desert. With Morocco co-hosting the 2030 World Cup alongside the USA, I'm already helping Vegas fans scout the country ahead of the tournament — and a smart routing locked in now makes that future trip painless.
