No nonstop runs from San Antonio (SAT) to Morocco. Fly SAT to JFK or Boston for Royal Air Maroc's direct Casablanca service, or connect via a European hub like Madrid or Frankfurt. Plan for about 18–22 hours of travel, then a 7- or 10-day loop from Casablanca or Marrakech.

San Antonio sits a long way from any Morocco gateway, so when SAT clients come to me I am upfront: this is a two-leg trip. The route I trust most is San Antonio to New York-JFK or Boston, then Royal Air Maroc's direct flight to Casablanca. One ocean crossing, bags checked through, minimal fuss — that is what you want when you are already starting deep in Texas.

Because San Antonio fares often move through Dallas or Houston, the European option is very much in play: connect onto Madrid, Frankfurt, Lisbon, or London and take the short hop down to Morocco. I price both for every client. With either, total travel lands around 18 to 22 hours, so I never schedule anything on arrival day beyond check-in, mint tea, and an early night.

On the ground, I like sending San Antonio families and couples on a route that balances cities and landscape. Ten days lets you do Marrakech, the Atlas passes, a real Sahara overnight, and Fes without watching the clock; seven days is a tighter imperial-cities-plus-desert version. Texans tend to appreciate the wide-open Sahara — it scratches the same big-sky itch as West Texas, just with camels.

Lock the transatlantic Casablanca leg first, then fit the SAT positioning flight around it. Summer heat delays and storms can ripple through Texas hubs, so I build a generous connection buffer and ask everyone to reconfirm both segments 48 hours out. Royal Air Maroc and European carriers adjust schedules seasonally — verifying beats assuming.
