A tailored Morocco honeymoon typically runs from around $2,500–$4,000 per couple for a comfortable week, $4,000–$8,000 for upper-boutique riads and a private camp, and $10,000+ for full luxury with palace hotels and private guiding. Flights, season and how much you delegate are the big variables.

Honeymoon budgets are the question I get asked most quietly and most often, so let me be straightforward. For a comfortable, well-designed week — lovely boutique riads, a private driver, a good desert camp, a couple of special dinners — most couples land somewhere around $2,500 to $4,000 per couple on the ground, before international flights. That already buys a beautiful trip in Morocco; it is excellent value compared with Europe or the Maldives.

Step up to the upper-boutique tier — the most coveted riad suites, a private (not shared) luxury desert camp, private guides in Fes and Marrakech, a few standout experiences — and you are typically in the $4,000 to $8,000 range per couple for the week. Full top-end luxury, with the flagship palace hotels and bespoke everything, runs $10,000 and well beyond. The spread is wide because Morocco serves every tier genuinely well.

The levers that move the number most are season, accommodation and how much you delegate. Spring and autumn are peak honeymoon season and priced accordingly; the riad suite with the private plunge pool costs multiples of the standard room; and a private camp costs more than a shared one but is what makes the desert night romantic. Private driving costs more than self-driving but removes all the stress — on a honeymoon, most couples decide that is worth it.

My honest budgeting advice: spend on the things you will feel — the riad suite, the private desert night, two memorable dinners — and economise on the in-between rather than spreading the budget thinly. Tell us your number and we will design the best possible week within it rather than upselling. Flights are extra and swing seasonally, so book those early.
