Ten days in Morocco costs about $850–$1,400 per person budget, $2,000–$4,000 per person on a private mid-range tour (~$100–$250/person/day), and $5,500+ luxury — flights excluded. Ten days adds Chefchaouen, the coast, or a slower desert without backtracking.

Ten days is where Morocco stops being a highlight reel and starts feeling like a proper journey, which is why our 10-day itinerary is the one I steer people toward when they have the time. With ten days you can run the full grand loop — Marrakech, the Sahara, Fes — and then add the blue city of Chefchaouen, a night in Rabat or Tangier, or a couple of slow days on the Atlantic coast in Essaouira. You stop racing the daylight.

A budget ten-day trip, self-organised with trains, group excursions, and modest riads, comes to roughly $850–$1,400 per person on the ground. The extra days do not scale the cost the way the first few do, because once you have paid your "arrival overhead", each additional day of simple rooms and meals is fairly cheap. Independent travellers genuinely stretch the lower end here.

The private mid-range version is what most of my ten-day clients book: a dedicated driver for the whole route, riads and boutique hotels in the $100–$170 range, a good desert camp, city guides, and entrance fees. That comes to roughly $2,000–$4,000 per person for two sharing — still the $100–$250 per person per day mid-range band, just over more days. Splitting the car and guide across four travellers can pull the per-person figure down by 20–30%.

Luxury ten-day trips with 5-star properties throughout, a premium vehicle, a top-tier camp, and curated private experiences begin around $5,500 a person and can pass $9,000 for the most exclusive builds. My honest read: ten days is the most satisfying length-to-cost ratio Morocco offers — long enough to relax, short enough to keep momentum — so if your dates allow it, this is the trip I quietly hope clients choose.
