A luxury 10-day Morocco trip typically costs $5,500–$9,000+ per person, based on two sharing — roughly $550–$900 per person per day for 5-star riads and palace hotels, a private 4x4 with driver-guide, a butler-serviced desert camp, and curated experiences. Flights are extra.
Luxury in Morocco is not just nicer hotels bolted onto a standard route — it is a different texture of travel. When I design a luxury ten-day trip I am thinking about the Royal Mansour or La Mamounia in Marrakech, a restored kasbah on the desert road, a private en-suite camp at Erg Chebbi with a fire and a chef, and a palace riad in Fes. The vehicle is a premium 4x4 with a dedicated driver-guide who stays with you the whole journey, and the days are spaced so you are never rushed.
For a trip like that, expect roughly $5,500–$9,000 per person for two people sharing over ten days — call it $550–$900 a person per day, before flights. The single biggest line is accommodation: a night at a true palace hotel can run $800–$2,000 for the room alone, and you have ten of them. The desert camp is the other showpiece — a luxury private camp with proper plumbing, beds, and a private dinner is $300–$500 per person, versus $80 for a standard one.
Where the money quietly buys the most magic is the private experiences threaded between the hotels: a sunrise hot-air balloon over the palm groves, a private cooking class with a dada in a riad kitchen, a after-hours guided visit somewhere the crowds cannot reach, a hammam ritual, a vineyard lunch in the Atlas foothills. These are $150–$600 each and they are what separates a luxury trip from an expensive one. I always tell clients to spend here before upgrading the car again.
My honest counsel on luxury: the ceiling is essentially unlimited — a fully bespoke ten days with the most exclusive properties, helicopter transfers, and a private chef can pass $15,000 a person — but the joy does not scale linearly. The jump from good to wonderful is large; the jump from wonderful to ostentatious is small. As our luxury and honeymoon designer, I would rather give you three perfect, unhurried experiences than ten you barely have time to feel.
