How to plan a Morocco trip from Singapore?

Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian hubs are surprisingly well-positioned for Morocco, and I plan a lot of these trips. From Changi you're roughly 16 to 18 hours away with one connection, and there's about a seven-hour time difference — noticeable but very manageable, nothing like the brutality faced by guests from New Zealand. That makes a ten-day trip perfectly viable, though I still nudge most guests to twelve or fourteen so the desert and the south get the time they deserve rather than being squeezed in.

Casablanca (CMN) is the gateway; from there I usually run a clean loop through Marrakech, the Sahara, the Atlas and Fes so you never backtrack.

On visas, Singapore passport holders have enjoyed visa-free entry to Morocco for tourist stays of up to 90 days, making the admin pleasantly light — passport valid six months, an onward ticket and a first-night booking. The same caveat I give everyone applies: entry policies can change, so confirm the current requirement with the Moroccan authorities or embassy before booking flights. The same generally holds for several neighbouring Southeast Asian passports, but each nationality differs, so always check your specific passport rather than assuming.

A tip I give Singaporean guests in particular: lean into Morocco's contrasts, because they're the opposite of home in the best way.
