A private candle-lit celebration dinner in Morocco — the setting for an intimate elopement
Intimate Destination Weddings

Elope in Morocco

A private symbolic ceremony, just the two of you (or a tiny party): vows on a Sahara dune at sunset, a candle-lit riad courtyard in Marrakech or Fes, a private photographer to capture it all, and a rooftop celebration dinner. We arrange the setting, styling, ceremony and stay — intimate, beautiful and stress-free.

Where to say I do

On a Sahara dune at sunset

On a Sahara dune at sunset

Stand barefoot on the warm sand of Erg Chebbi as the sun melts into the dunes and the lanterns are lit. A symbolic ceremony in the silence of the desert, with nothing around you but golden sand and an opening sky.

In a candle-lit riad courtyard

In a candle-lit riad courtyard

Exchange your words in a centuries-old riad — a fountain murmuring, hundreds of candles flickering against carved cedar and zellige tile. Intimate, sheltered and quietly beautiful, with only the people you love in the room.

With a private photographer

With a private photographer

We arrange a discreet photographer (and videographer, if you wish) to capture the whole day — the ceremony, the portraits in the kasbahs and dunes, the unguarded moments. You leave with images you will keep forever.

A rooftop celebration dinner

A rooftop celebration dinner

Close the day with a private dinner on a reserved rooftop above the medina — a chef-prepared menu, the call to prayer drifting over the city, and the two of you toasting the start of something. A celebration scaled exactly to you.

Stress-Free

We handle the details

From the first candle to the last toast, every element is arranged before you arrive — so all you have to do is be present with each other.

The setting & styling

We choose and arrange your location — a dune, a palm grove, a riad courtyard, a rooftop — and style it down to the petals, candles, lanterns and florals, so the moment looks exactly as you imagined.

A symbolic ceremony

We arrange a celebrant-style officiant to lead a personal, symbolic ceremony — your own words, your own vows. Please note this is a celebration experience, not legal marriage: couples typically complete the legal paperwork at home and verify requirements with their own authorities. We arrange the ceremony and setting, not the legal registration.

Photographer & videographer

A private photographer (and optional videographer) captures the ceremony, your portraits in Morocco’s most beautiful settings, and the celebration that follows.

Your stay, dinner & a small party

We handle your boutique riad stay, a celebration dinner, and — if you wish — a tiny guest party of close family or friends, with transfers, transport and every detail arranged before you arrive.

Good to know

Morocco elopement — FAQ

Yes — Morocco is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric places in the world to elope or hold an intimate micro-wedding. We arrange the whole experience: the setting (a Sahara dune at sunset, a candle-lit riad courtyard, a palm grove or a rooftop above the medina), a celebrant-style officiant to lead a personal symbolic ceremony, the styling, a private photographer, and a celebration dinner. You tell us your vision and dates, and we choreograph the day so all the two of you have to do is show up and say your words.
Was this helpful?

To be completely honest: no. We arrange a symbolic ceremony and a celebration experience, not a legal marriage — we do not handle legal paperwork or registration. Most couples who elope abroad complete the legal part at home, before or after the trip, and then celebrate with us in Morocco. Please verify the legal requirements for marriage with your own local authorities. What we give you is the beautiful, meaningful ceremony and the memories; the official paperwork stays in your hands at home.

The Sahara dunes near Merzouga are unforgettable for a sunset ceremony in pure silence. Marrakech offers candle-lit riad courtyards and rooftop dinners over the medina. Fes brings ancient medina romance, the Atlas Mountains and palm groves offer dramatic natural backdrops, and the Atlantic town of Essaouira adds breezy coastal charm. We match the setting to the mood you want — desert grandeur, intimate courtyard, or sea-and-sky — and build the journey around it.
Was this helpful?

Absolutely. Many of our couples elope just the two of them, but a micro-wedding with a small party of close family or friends — typically up to a dozen people — is just as easy to arrange. We handle their stays, transfers and the celebration dinner so everyone is looked after, while keeping the day intimate and unhurried rather than a large production.

Every elopement is bespoke and quoted individually, because so much depends on the setting, styling, photography and stay you choose. As a guide, our private journeys start from around $250–$400 per person per day all-inclusive, with ceremony and celebration add-ons — the officiant, florals and styling, photographer, private dinner — quoted alongside. Tell us your plans and we will send a detailed, no-obligation quote, usually within hours.
