Wear closed, flat shoes (you will stand in the basket and walk on uneven ground at the landing site), and bring a hat and sunglasses for after sunrise. A small camera or phone with a strap is ideal for the golden-hour views.
Are balloon flights suitable for children?
Ballooning has wide appeal and many families fly together, but most operators set a minimum age and require children to be tall enough to see over the basket edge and to stand for the duration of the flight. What happens if the flight is cancelled for weather?
