July is high summer in Agadir, but the resort's Atlantic position keeps it warm rather than scorching. Daytime highs around 27°C, cooled by a near-constant sea breeze, mean genuine beach comfort while inland Morocco swelters near 38°C. The familiar grey coastal-haze mornings still appear before clearing to bright, sunny afternoons, and the long bay, promenade and marina are at their lively, sun-filled peak.

This is the resort in full flow. The beach clubs, watersports and warm swimmable sea are all at their busiest, the surf coast just north at Taghazout serves dependable summer waves, and the warm evenings keep the seafront and marina humming late. Day trips stay comfortable in the breeze — Paradise Valley's cool pools are a perfect midday escape, while Souss-Massa and Taroudant make easy outings for a change of scene.
July also coincides, in some years, with the Timitar Festival — Agadir's big celebration of Amazigh and world music — typically around July, though dates vary. For families and travellers seeking a proper summer beach holiday without inland Morocco's furnace heat, July is ideal: warm, breezy, lively and forgiving, as long as you let the hazy mornings give way to the bright afternoons.
