Chittagong has no direct Morocco flight. Connect through a Gulf hub — Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi — usually via Dhaka first, for roughly 15 to 18 hours total. Land in Casablanca, then transfer onward to Marrakech or Fes.

Chittagong is closer to Morocco than the East Asian cities I plan from, but there is still no direct flight, so the Gulf does the connecting. From Shah Amanat most of my clients route through the Gulf carriers — Qatar Airways via Doha, Emirates via Dubai or flydubai, and Etihad via Abu Dhabi — sometimes after a short hop to Dhaka where long-haul frequency is higher. The Gulf-to-Casablanca leg runs about eight hours, and the whole journey usually lands around fifteen to eighteen hours door to door. Verify the live schedules and connection windows, as the smartest build changes with the season.

When the trip starts with a Dhaka or Gulf hop, I plan the layovers with comfortable margin and keep the journey on a single ticket where I can, so a delayed first leg never jeopardises the onward Casablanca flight. Doha and Dubai are my usual hub recommendations for Bangladeshi travellers, both for the easy transit and the frequent onward service. And I always price an open-jaw routing — into Casablanca, home from Marrakech or Fes — so the Moroccan days flow one way rather than doubling back.

The time difference puts Morocco about five to six hours behind Bangladesh, which is mild enough that jet lag is rarely a serious factor — but I still plan a relaxed arrival day with riad check-in, a slow wander and an early dinner before the desert drive the next morning. For Bangladeshi clients I often design seven to ten days depending on time and budget, which gives Marrakech, a Sahara night and Fes proper room, with ten days letting the north breathe as well.

On visas, Bangladeshi passport holders currently need a visa for Morocco — check the latest requirements, eligibility and processing times with the Moroccan embassy or the e-visa portal well before booking, and build in time for the paperwork. Everything else is standard: draw dirhams from ATMs on arrival rather than sourcing taka-to-dirham at home, carry a backup card, and pack warm layers for cold desert nights and cool Atlas mornings. Travel in spring or autumn, get the Gulf connection right, and Chittagong is a comfortable launch point for Morocco.
