April in Agadir is glorious spring — highs around 22–23°C, comfortable evenings near 13–14°C, and reliably sunny skies. The Atlantic warms slightly (~18°C) but stays brisk. It is one of the best all-round months: warm enough for the beach, cool enough for sightseeing, and the inland landscapes are at their lushest.
April is, I think, one of the genuinely great months to be in Agadir — it has the warmth without the intensity, the sunshine without the summer crowds, and a landscape that's still spring-fresh. Daytime highs sit comfortably around 22–23°C, which is warm enough to spend long, lazy hours on the beach or terrace but mild enough that walking, golf and day-tripping never feel like a chore. The skies are reliably clear and the light is beautiful. For a first-timer wanting a relaxed beach holiday with a little exploring built in, April is hard to beat.
The evenings have warmed up too, settling around 13–14°C, so you can linger outside after dinner without reaching for a heavy coat — a light layer does it. The Atlantic is creeping up to roughly 18°C: still brisk, and most sun-seekers will paddle rather than fully swim, but it's tipped past the depths of winter and the hardier swimmers do go in. This is prime surf and bodyboard season along the coast at Taghazout and Tamraght, with consistent swell and air warm enough that the cold water feels like a small price.
Inland, April is a delight. The argan forests and the Souss valley are still green from the spring, wildflowers dot the foothills, and the road up to Paradise Valley or out to Taroudant is at its most scenic. The argan-oil cooperatives are busy, the markets are full of early-season produce, and the whole region has that fresh, optimistic feel of spring before the summer heat hardens everything to gold. I always suggest pairing Agadir in April with a green day trip inland — the contrast with the coast is wonderful.
My honest note is timing around Easter and European school holidays, which often land in April and bring a clear surge in visitors, especially families, with rates rising accordingly. If you want April's perfect weather with fewer people, aim for the non-holiday weeks. Either way, I'd recommend April to almost anyone: it's the month I point people to when they want the best balance of beach warmth, comfortable sightseeing and beautiful scenery, without committing to high summer.
