March in Agadir is gently warming spring — highs around 21–22°C, milder nights near 11–12°C, and abundant sunshine. Days feel noticeably longer and softer than February. The Atlantic is still cool (~17–18°C) for swimming, but it is a beautiful month for the beach, golf, surfing and inland day trips.

March is when Agadir tips properly from winter into spring, and you can feel the shift week by week. The daytime highs nudge up to around 21–22°C, the sunshine grows longer and stronger as the clocks turn, and the harsh evening chill of midwinter starts to soften. It's a transitional month in the best sense: still firmly in the warm, dry, blue-sky pattern that makes Agadir special, but with the days stretching out so you get more usable beach time before the sun drops. For me it's one of the most underrated months to visit.

The Atlantic is still on the cool side — around 17–18°C — so I'd be honest that March is not yet swimming weather for most people; you'll see far more surfers in wetsuits than sunbathers braving the waves. But the air temperature is genuinely pleasant for sunbathing, beach walks and the kind of slow promenade life Agadir does so well. Evenings remain mild rather than warm, dipping to about 11–12°C, so a light jacket after sunset is still sensible. Pack for layered spring days: sun protection by day, a wrap for the terrace at night.

What I love about March is the hinterland. This is when the Souss plain and the Anti-Atlas foothills are at their greenest, the argan trees are in leaf, and the famous goats-in-the-trees scenes are easy to find on the road inland. Paradise Valley's pools and palms are lush, Taroudant's red walls glow, and the whole region feels alive and fragrant. Crowds are still light — you're between the winter-sun long-stayers and the Easter influx — so prices are reasonable and the beach feels spacious. It's a sweet spot for value.

So I'd recommend March in Agadir to anyone who wants spring warmth and long sunny days without summer prices or crowds, and who's happy to swap ocean swimming for surfing, walking and exploring. It pairs especially well with an inland loop to Taroudant or the Souss valley while everything is green. The only caveat is the Easter window, which can fall in late March some years and brings a noticeable bump in visitors and rates — if you want it quiet, aim for the first three weeks.
