No. Spanish passport holders do not need a visa for Morocco for stays up to 90 days, whether you arrive by air or by ferry. You enter on your passport alone — no e-visa, no fee. Just keep it valid and complete the arrival card.
Spanish citizens need no visa for Morocco — you can stay up to 90 days for tourism on your passport alone. This applies whether you fly in or cross the Strait by ferry, which matters because so many Spanish travellers come over by boat from Tarifa or Algeciras. There's no e-visa, no advance application and no fee at the border. For a Spaniard, going to Morocco is paperwork-light to the point of being effortless.
The only thing to watch is passport validity. Morocco asks that your passport be valid for the duration of your stay, but I advise Spanish guests to keep at least three to six months' validity beyond their return date, because airlines and ferry operators sometimes apply the stricter rule at check-in. If your passport is close to expiry, renew it before travelling — it would be frustrating to be stopped at the port over a few weeks of validity.
When you arrive you complete a short entry card with your passport details and your first night's accommodation. On the ferry routes, Moroccan immigration often stamps you in on board during the crossing, so you're cleared before you dock — keep your passport accessible. The entry stamp records the start of your 90 days, so just be mindful of the date and you'll never risk an overstay.
For the unusual case of wanting to remain longer than 90 days, you'd request an extension in-country at a police prefecture, but for an ordinary holiday or a quick ferry hop to Tangier this never comes up. The complete answer for Spanish travellers: bring a valid passport, and that's genuinely all.
