What changes in 2027
Four dates that shape a 2027 tour

The ksar of Ait Benhaddou above its palms Ramadan moves into February
Ramadan is expected from about 8 February to 8 March 2027, ten days earlier than in 2026. Monuments and hotels stay open; many medina cafés close until sunset. Tours from mid-March start after Eid al-Fitr, about 9 March.

Expected about 16 May 2027, in the middle of the spring season. Souks and workshops close for two or three days and roads are busy, so we put a desert or mountain stretch on those days instead of a medina.

Easter Sunday is 28 March 2027, just after Ramadan ends. The two weeks around it are among the busiest of the spring for riads and desert camps, so ask early if your dates are fixed.

The festive fortnight of 2027–28 is the busiest time for Sahara camps and Marrakech riads. If you want New Year’s Eve in the dunes, start planning in the spring.

What you get within 24 hours
Your proposal contains
- A day-by-day route, with the driving time between stops
- Stays matched to your style (riads, kasbahs, desert camps or hotels), named so you can look them up
- Which moments are private to you, and which are shared, such as a camp’s dining tent
- An itemised quote: what is included and what is not
- Who is planning your trip, and how to reach them on WhatsApp
- Free, with no obligation to book
Before you pay a deposit, we confirm
- Opening days for the places on your route, including Friday and holiday closures
- Meal stops along the way, and any dietary needs
- Prayer or Shabbat timing, if it matters to you
- Step-free access, wherever you need it
- The vehicle class for your group and your luggage
Every trip is private and priced to your dates, so there is no fixed price list. Ask, and the proposal shows the full cost before anything is booked.
Morocco tours 2027: your questions
When is the best time for a Morocco tour in 2027?
Mid-March to May and October to November. Ramadan is expected from about 8 February to 8 March 2027, and Eid al-Adha about 16 May, when shops close for two or three days. July and August are better for the coast and mountains than the Sahara.
How many days do I need for a private Morocco tour?
Seven days covers Marrakech, a night in the Sahara and Fes. Ten days adds Chefchaouen, Rabat and a slower pace. Fourteen days lets you add the Atlas valleys and the coast at Essaouira.
Can I tour Morocco during Ramadan 2027?
Yes. Ramadan is expected from about 8 February to 8 March 2027. Monuments, hotels and riads stay open and evenings are lively after iftar; some medina cafés close until sunset, so we plan meals around it.
What is included in a private Morocco tour?
Your own driver and vehicle for the whole route, local guides in the cities where you want them, and the riads, hotels and desert camp you choose. Nobody else joins your group.
How far ahead should I book a 2027 Morocco tour?
For Easter (Easter Sunday is 28 March 2027), the spring festivals and the Christmas fortnight, ask a few months ahead so your chosen riads and camps are free. Other weeks are more flexible.
How much does a private Morocco tour cost in 2027?
It depends on the season, the number of days, the hotels you choose and your group size. Easter, festival weeks and the Christmas fortnight book up first. Send your dates for a free, itemised quote within 24 hours.
