June brings serious heat to the desert gateway. Daytime highs reach around 35°C under a relentless, dry sun, and the high-desert light is fierce. Sightseeing has to bend around the heat: explore the Atlas Film Studios, the Taourirt Kasbah and the great ksar of Ait Benhaddou in the early morning and late afternoon, and treat the midday hours as time for shade, water and rest. Nights cool to a more comfortable warmth, offering relief after the blazing days.
Every tour is private, led by a licensed local guide, and fully customisable to your interests and pace. Prices are per person based on two travellers.

The kasbah country is still strikingly photogenic in June's intense light, with the ochre walls glowing against cloudless skies, but the heat demands a sensible rhythm and plenty of hydration. The onward Sahara is brutally hot now and best saved for cooler months, so June here is mostly about the film-and-kasbah sights handled around the sun. The dryness means clear skies are near-guaranteed — the challenge is the temperature, not the weather.
June is a mixed month: rewarding for heat-tolerant travellers who plan dawn-and-dusk touring and carry plenty of water, but demanding for everyone else. As deep summer begins, crowds thin and the gateway feels quiet. For those comfortable with the heat and a flexible daily rhythm, the brilliant light and dramatic scenery can still make it worthwhile; for most, the shoulder months of spring and autumn are far kinder.
