March is when Marrakech's season truly opens. Daytime highs climb to a comfortable 23°C, the palm groves and gardens are green, and the Atlas passes are fully open for day trips into the mountains. Evenings are mild rather than cold, the medina hums back to life, and the whole city feels poised between winter's quiet and spring's energy. It is one of the best months to be here — warm enough to enjoy, not yet hot enough to slow you down.
Every tour is private, led by a licensed local guide, and fully customisable to your interests and pace. Prices are per person based on two travellers.

This is a near-ideal month for combining the city with everything around it. The Ourika Valley and the High Atlas foothills are lush and walkable, Essaouira's coast is breezy and bright, and the road to the Sahara is comfortable in daylight. In the city, Jemaa el-Fnaa, the Bahia Palace and the souks are all rewarding without the deep-summer heat, and rooftop dinners become pleasant again as the evenings warm.
Crowds and prices begin to rise from the winter floor as Easter approaches, so March rewards travellers who book ahead. The trade-off is weather close to perfect for sightseeing — long, bright, comfortable days with the mountains still snow-tipped behind the city. For a first visit that wants to see Marrakech and its day trips at their easiest, March is hard to beat.
